The Sons of Guns Shine a Light on Positivity with New Single, ‘It’s Getting Better’

The Sons of Guns promo for the single It's Getting Better showing the band members dancing inside top trump cards

It has been a remarkable start to the year for the Nice-based group The Sons of Guns. Last month, they flew halfway across the globe to play several successful MUSEXPO highlights and even blessed the APM headquarters with an unforgettable Indie Artists Live session, which is one of the most viewed sessions in recent memory.

Last week, the quintet released a new single entitled “It’s Getting Better.” The catchy, upbeat number is a certified 70s-style Americana gem complete with tight vocal harmonies, cool-driving groove, and smooth slide guitar.

The song is about a conversation between a pessimist and an optimist–an ancient tug of war dating back to when humans began seeing their kylix as either half–empty or half–full. In this song, however, it’s all about how things are getting better and not being bitter.

To promote the single, the band created special “Top Trump Cards” showing the band members dancing to the song as only The Sons of Guns could pull off.  It’s really refreshing to see a band that doesn’t really take themselves too seriously and is always eager to have fun. It’s positive vibes all around.

Watch the cool promos below.

The single is available for licensing through APM Music.
